 – HOW TO CONFIRM MY RESERVATION ? Once your “open option” or direct booking” madee, we will call you back to study everything and to verify if the boat corresponds to your your expectationss

 

– UP TO HOW MANY PASSENGERS CAN BE ON BOARD?  Typically, 6 à 10 peoples on a cruise including overnight stayss and 12 people for day trips.day trips. 

 

– DO I HAVE THE POSSIBILITY TO PUT AN OPTION WHILE I THINK ABOUT IT? Yes, the option is valid for 72 hours. We wille recommend that you call us call us to get the maximum advice on the selection on the selection of the boat.  

– WHAT IS A BOAT RENTAL ? WITHOUT A CREW? WITH CREW ?

WITHOUT CREW :

You will be the captain!

WITH CREW :

Crewed boat rental includes an optional professional skipper, hostess or even a chef.

You will exchange with the skipper about the organization of the course and all your wishes, according to your desires and with the hostess for the provisioning.

– AM I ABLE TO NAVIGATE MYSELF? It is essential to check with our consultant, before booking your boat, your licenses or navigation permits. Indeed, the regulations can vary from one navigation zone to another.

However, for motorboats with a power of more than 6 HP, a boat license is REQUIRED.

For some destinations (Italy, Greece, Sweden, Turkey, Croatia, Seychelles, Madagascar, Montenegro, Brazil, Thailand and Spain), a navigation permit is mandatory for bareboat charters.

The original of your license must be carried with you on your boat on your boat.

By accepting the charter contract, you and/or your crew members confirm your willingness to sail in the conditions and cruising area of your charter.

If, after verification, we consider that the Hirer is not fit or competent to take charge of the boat, we reserve the right not to entrust the boat to him/her.

The choice of the skipper is interesting because he takes care of the global security, the insurance excess is considerably reduced.

– WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY RENTAL AGREEMENT?

WITHOUT CREW :

– Boat and safety equipment, (dinghy and outboard motor optional)


– Place at the marina:
First and last night at the base

– Fuel and water : All boats are delivered with full fuel (boat and dinghy), full water, a gas bottle + a reserve bottle. You must return the boat with full fuel and water tanks.


– Mandatory options :
End of cruise cleaning

One week of boat accommodation for your group

IF choice of a
dedicated hostess (optional) : mise daily breakfasts and lunches for your group (according to food preferences). In addition, the daily cleaning of common areas.

– WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN MY RENTAL AGREEMENT?

WITHOUT CREW :


– Skipper:
If you book a skipper, you can pay cash at the base or in advance for most destinations.


– Fees :
Port, marina and anchorage fees, provisioning, cruise taxes, passage and customs fees


– Extras :
provisioningcancellation insurance, fuel and water, skipper, cook/hostess, kayaks/paddleboards, full board, à la carte, fishing gear, child safety net, boat phone, Wi-Fi and airport transfers.

Please note: some of these extras are not available in all bases. That is why we advise you to contact us to have this additional information.

– WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF PAYMENT? Several payment terms apply:

30 % on reservation


– 70%
30 days before boarding


– 100 %
if boarding is less than 30 days away.

Early payment discounts are available on some boats, please contact us.

– WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED? We prefer payment by bank transfer or credit card to our dedicated suspense account.

The financial breakdown is done once the entire file has been verified.

– WILL I HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL FEES? TO WHOM DO I PAY FOR THE OPTIONS? Some options are to be paid at the rental base, such as the skipper option for example.

– WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE STANDARD INSURANCE? The standard insurance covers the boat and the equipment listed in the inventory: accidental damage as well as obvious theft, hijacking, removal and destruction costs.

In case of damage compensated by the insurer, the amount of the deposit mentioned in the contract is charged to the tenant within the limit of this one.

Purely aesthetic damage such as scratches and deliberate or negligent acts or non-application of regulations are never insured. The costs of these damages are to be borne by the tenant.

– WHAT INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE TO ME? You have the possibility of subscribing to the insurance of repurchase of frankness up to 6 000 € for the hirings without skipper or subscribe to the insurance cancellation in supplement with our partner.

– WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF CANCELLATION?

ON? 
There are several cancellation conditions:

– the user can cancel the rental
up to 90 days before departure
in which case a cancellation fee of 30% of the rental price will apply.

– the user can cancel the rental
up to 60 days before departure
in which case a cancellation fee of 50% of the rental price will apply.

– the user can cancel the rental
up to 30 days before departure
in which case a cancellation fee of 70% of the rental price will apply.

– If the user cancels the rental within
30 days prior to departure
the rental price is retained by the Renter and the Service Fee remains due.
 

– HOW IS THE ROUTE DEFINED?


Without crew:
the rental company and we can help you.


With Skipper:
the skipper will contact you before the cruise to ask for your wishes.

– ARE PETS ALLOWED ON BOARD? Ask us and we will check with our partner.

– WHO CHOOSES THE CREWS? Either the boat has a regular skipper and the payment of the skipper is made at the rental base. Either the agency issues a request to a recruitment firm, which also manages the social declaration (crew enrolment).

This agency invoices you directly for the entire service, the skipper receiving his salary about 5 days after the cruise.

Depending on the season, we sometimes receive several resumes to submit to you.

In both cases, the payment of the skipper option does not go through SAIL Riviera / RIVIERA Company. We remind you that the presence of the skipper does not make the cruise a transport.
